Estimate Your Benefits Calculator reflecting Yellow Ribbon for Active Duty Status (Colmery Section 104) Value Statement: As a System Owner, I need the Estimate Benefits calculator to include Yellow Ribbon amounts for Active Duty Status on the GI Bill Comparison Tool, so that claimants are aware of their tuition payments. Assumptions:

  1. Yellow Ribbon is available at campus
  2. Maximum amount of Yellow Ribbon per year is available for each approved campus Acceptance Criteria:
  3. Claimants whose military status is Active Duty
  4. Claimants whose benefit level is 36+ months: 100% (includes BASIC Training)

@ericks24 The temporary changes to remove the Yellow Ribbon question for Active Duty members with 36+ months (due to future effective date of 08/01/2022) were delivered to staging on 05/09/2019. Based on a recent meeting on 05/24/2019, you indicated that testing was completed and is ready for production pending EDU communication / scheduling.

Based on our last meeting on 05/28/2019, John took an action item to discuss with EDU how to handle this due to the fact that the effective date is 2+ years in the future.

The removal of the implementation of new functionality in support of that section before the legislation effective date was delivered to production on 06/07/2019.
