Appointments Endpoint will Include Community Care Appointment from Wellhive/EPS
5.) Please explain what problem you are trying to solve.
As part of the Veteran Direct Self Scheduling for Community Care Appointments initiative, the VAOS backend endpoint that is used by both the Appointments on VA.gov application and VAHB is going to be modified to allow Veterans to self-schedule community care appointments. The appointment list on VA.gov and VAHB already display community care appointments and we don't think they will be impacted with these modifications.
While there appears to be no work necessary on the VAHB side, we are requesting that, after this change is made, the VAHB team QA the display of appointments to ensure there are no side effects or additional work needed to account for the addition of these appointments.
