he had previously been a user of this workspace w/the email address you are trying to update it to.
i need a diff email i can use to update the old deactivated account and then i can update the current account with the requested email.
he is showing as a regular member w/chuck.okafor@ctr.govcio.com

Please update Chuck's email address to chukwudum.okafor@govcio.com.
@Chukwudum Okafor's email address has changed from chuck.okafor@ctr.govcio.com to chukwudum.okafor@govcio.com. (We dropped the ctr subdomain and his government name doesn't have that 2nd "c".)
Yesterday I sent invitations to both his new GovCIO email address and even his va.gov email address, but he is not seeing any invites to join the workspace, so maybe it's because I should be using this form.
For continuity we would prefer to have his email updated so that we have one Chuck (Chukwudum) and not both a new Chukwudum and an old disabled Chuck; however, if you have to create a new account, we'll adjust. If you have to create a new account, Full member is preferred because we have several integrations with VA, but his most active channel would be #va-notify-public.
BTW, he cannot log in to the Slack workspace to change his email address (if such a self-serve manner is allowed) because I believe a verification code goes to his old email address, but his old email address is disabled for him.
