In (at least) windows 11, windows has introduced a lot of really weird virtual folders like: "Home" and "Libraries", the are simply shortcuts to folders so they don't even display in the treeview when you go into subfolders (even in Explorer.exe), would their be any way to get rid of these folders/ shortcuts since they take up screen space and are quite confusing when navigating via the treeview? I have tried unpinning etc from the main Explorer.exe but nothing seems to work. This is the context menu for "Home" in explorer++.exe image

It'd be lovely if we could just have a Preferences Tab with tick-boxes for each of these 'folders'. Has M$ told us/documented what they changed in 11 yet?

IIRC They added the Home folder, they also changed moved the %userprofile% folders to the main "Desktop" virtual folder, honestly its all super confusing now, especially since you cannot remove/ add some virtual folders like home and libraries
