Same. It worked yesterday. I guess YouTube updated something.
Came to check to see if there was an update, noticed this issue.
I thought I was going crazy as my Watch Later playlist was auto-nexting once a video finished, forcing me to have to go into my watch history and remove the one that just started.
This is on Edge, latest version on Windows 11.
Having the same issue.
The only working solution I've come across was to use a userscript (which can be implemented in an addon).
Annoyingly, the original author removed his script since someone else is maintaining it.
The problem is I don't trust userscripts that then pull more code from external sites, so I took the original and applied a fix from an older comment and it works just fine for me (until yt changes something again). Maybe @dessant can look at what this does and salvage it for the add-on.

The addon has ceased to perform its function.
It happens on multiple computers (Some at work, some at home... I only use Firefox everywhere.). I've tried various similar addons, but they don't work either. I guess YT might have made some changes and that's why it happened?
Thanks for checking, I liked your addon.
