The WOs discovered an intermittent problem in that

/etc/init.d/dhrc restart

sometimes errors out with complaints about procfiles not existing. This doesn't seem to happen all the time.

[jkelley on 2019-01-11 19:51:30] Cannot reproduce in Jan. 2019. Module will not unload if device is open, so that's not related. There is a KERN_WARNING if the proc filesystem cannot be created, need to check for that next time it happens.
