Numbering of torrents ( # tab) sometimes skips torrents

Ordering per column ( name, progress ect...) does not work

Unusual behavior when downloading many torrents: those paused will sometimes randomly download and stop after a while. if force start all torrents, after a few minutes all of them will pause except the 3 first. like force start but adapted to this

add labels support which helps when you have 50+ torrents

already said it but since you are adding some stuff to settings : make a tab similar to change torrent options with max upload slots and max connections in the main settings. Use the one in main setting to set the default settings higher than the current default one (4 upload slots and 60 max connections), use the torrent options for individual torrent change

sometimes all the buttons images will disappear, without touching anything, or without the client being minimised in tray. a reboot fixes this

diantahoc commented 9 years ago

I will start working on these problems as soon as possible.

And about the buttons images, I think the problem might be related to GPU driver/hardware issues, since only a "reboot" fix it. I am not sure though.

also downloading 3-4 torrents at 9-10mo/s and seeding 20, running for 2 hours byteflood uses 800M of memory and still going up. I think there might be a little problem there.

I think with the encryption , peerlist, tracker issues are the most important. With those solved the client can start to be used for regular usage.

you are doing a great job

diantahoc commented 9 years ago

I've added the label feature. Feel free to try it

Sylphe commented 9 years ago

another bug loading a 240Gb torrent makes it automatically crash and incapable of adding the torrent.

diantahoc commented 9 years ago

Can you link to the torrent file? Because I have added a 329GB torrent file and byteflood didn't crash.

Sylphe commented 9 years ago

its on a private tracker. but i guess the issue is the number of files : Torrent contains 2458 files

diantahoc commented 9 years ago

Yep. It has to do with the file count. This is the same bug as #14, which is an out of memory error.

hexafluoride commented 9 years ago

On an unrelated note, I got the core to build and run. Now to add the bindings... http://a.pomf.se/xzsyws.webm
I'm using MonoTorrent because I couldn't get Ragnar to work.
diantahoc commented 9 years ago

That's great.

diantahoc commented 9 years ago

The file count bug has been fixed.

Binaries have also been updated: https://github.com/diantahoc/byteflood/releases/tag/EUR

Sylphe commented 9 years ago

Was wondering how the dev on Ragnar is going, Diantahoc . Do you know when its gonna be implementable on Byteflood ?

diantahoc commented 9 years ago

Soon enough. I have been busy for a while (life happens), but once I finish what I want to do on Ragnar, the changes will get tested by Ragnar author and get published. Then Byteflood can use the new Ragnar library.

Thanks for you interest in Byteflood though. I (and perhaps @hexafluoride) appreciate it.

Sylphe commented 9 years ago

Thanks , I think byteflood has potential to really become a good client. Too bad my help is only limited to bug reports of feature request Right now most clients lack some , if not many of the following : up to date, high performance,in depth settings tweaking or lightweight/simplicity. I've tried a couple clients and I always keep rotating because none of them can get everything right. I think it's also the general feeling of most of the people using clients nowadaysand I also believe that a few people , even if they don't post here, are expecting something as well from this client
