I think we do need to memorize the B-P shading model because we derive it during the lecture, and it was one of the TATTOO formulas mentioned by the professor. But I am not sure if we need to memorize the refraction formula derivation and Snell's Law.

I specifically said in class you won’t be asked to rederive the formula for refraction rays
