Hi,

i found your code for RX2-TX2 ... and i have a question regarding it ....

if i understand correctly how the chip works is it generated this pulse commands and then uses RF circuit to modulate this onto a carrier frequency (usually 27MHz).

if i understand your code correctly it just outputs the pulse commands. i still need circuit to modulate this onto a carrier frequency right ? or is this already it ? (what is the carrier frequency then ? )

thanks a lot, Peter

Hi,

The Arduino replaces the transmitter, so it acts like a remote control but without using the wave to send the data (so no carrier, therefore no "remote" but only controller). Instead, the Arduino (or ATmega uC) physically sits somewhere near the receiver IC (RX2), and one of the Arduino digital pins is connected to the antenna pin of the RX IC, Then, we simulate/emulate the signal data (according with the RX2 datasheet).

Mircea.

And one more detail: the RX2 antenna pin is pin 3 from the RX2 datasheet (marked as SI - Signal Input).
