Cannot play self made ffmpeg-webm video with webmdshow

I have a self made FFMPEG.webm recorded movie file.

I'd like to play a ffmpeg recorded webm movie with the original WEBMDSHOW 
encoder driver for windows.

My FFMPEG.webm movie does not work with it. WindowsMediaPlayer says .. cannot 
play file...unsupported file type.. codec not suported. I tried also with 
windows 7, with versions webmdshow 1.0.2,1.0.1,0.9

Whereas all other typical webm-player-environments works nicely:
Firefox, klitecodecpack, VLCPlayer.

I also play sample video BigBugBunny.webm sucessfully in all environments.

What's the reason with the my FFMPEG webm created video? If required I can post 
my commandline.

Does anyone have a clue? This is very important to me for a project.

It there a way to enable some sort of verbose debug messages in the webm 
windows codec?
