AWS elasticsearch Forbidden #11

Hi

Trying to connect to Kibana provided by AWS elasticsearch. Elasticsearch version7.1

No user pass set:

 provider "kibana" {
    url     = "https://vpc-nonprod-logs-XXXXXXXXXX.ap-southeast-2.es.amazonaws.com:443"
}
Error: 403 Forbidden

  on vars.tf line 1, in provider "kibana":
   1: provider "kibana" {

Hum, I think you need some credential to connect on kibana API ?

No @disaster37 , there is no authentication on AWS Kibana by default. We haven't set any either.

Hum, I thing AWS use Opendistro, not ELK provided by Elastic. SO API seems to be not the same. Now is not the same product, so it must need a dedicated terraform provider
