Keyboard stops working. #12

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Run a game such as Liquidkids or Gemini Wings.
2. One minute or less into the game, when there is a lot of activity going on, 
the action starts crawling down and the keyboard stops working, so we can't 
play or even quit Mame4all. 
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

The game continues working but the keyboard stops operating. Only a 
CTRL+ALT+Backspace does the trick, closing XWindows and dumping me into the 
command line.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Raspbery Pi Model B 512MB, Raspbian 2013-02-09 fully updated. Firmware/Kernel 
3.6.11+ #437 .

Please provide any additional information below.
Keyboard is connected to a powered USB hub, in this case a Dell 22" lcd screen. 
No other usb device is hanging on the RaspberryPi.

A little extra info. When mame4all is run from the console, and not from the 
GUI, the problem doesn't come up. At least I am not able to replicate it.

Most probably there's something running in the background on X-Windows which is 
also grabbing input. Pi Store does sometimes grab a lot of cpu so it's best to 
start MAME4ALL outside of the Pi Store app.

It's probably the alt and space keys being pressed which are being also 
"caught" by the "Pi Store" app. Try remapping alt and space to other keys like 
"X" and "C".
