Contributing doc #33

As mentioned in #30, I'd use your explanation and put it in the Contributing doc. Additionally, I would like to include any questions that I may have as a newcomer, as that would likely also be useful for others looking to contribute.

One thing I would like to see more about is how to run the complete test suite.

I will look more into this and come up with a pull request, where we can polish the developer doc in the repo.

OK, I see there is the roadmap.md doc! But, since these are separate concerns, having a general guide doc for development would still be useful. Whereas roadmap is focused on the features.

Hi, I completely agree. Let's have this ticket open as a reminder to make changes in the readme before issuing a version.
