Directory counter not working for logfiles #4109

Did a test with quite a few jobs -- and received a warning:

Subject= dmason: 6570 FILES UNDER 1 DIRECTORY (more than 1000)

Our scans have determined that account dmason is over 1000 files (now: 6570) on /pnfs/fs/usr/cms/WAX/11/store/temp/user/dmason/Photon/131111_223109_dmason_crab_Run2011B/Photon/0000/log/

It appears log files need to have subdirectories made within -- preferably keeping <1000 files/dir...
