OMSI 2 - overlapping windows (game menus) are hidden #3269

Open alexwalkerinfo opened 1 year ago

alexwalkerinfo commented 1 year ago

The game OMSI 2 uses menus that overlay on top of the main game process. With standard DirectX9 this works as expected, but with DXVK enabled it appears to not allow any windows to overlap on top of the main game. ALT+Tabbing out so the game is not the focused application allows the menus to display, but they then disappear again when the game is focused. This occurs only when the game runs fullscreen and fullscreen borderless.

I am also having this issue, it started for me when i've changed my gpu from an r7 260x to RX 6800. I'm using 22.Q4 professional driver, DXVK 2.1 and Windows 10.

I think i can confirm on Linux? The game is a bit weird so i don't think i ever considered there could be a dxvk issue.
