Hi I am trying to get a bluetooth 4.0 rfid reader to pair with my late model 2011 macbook pro. I've installed the CAT and think i installed the brm patch but according to the following reports it would appear its not working. I am not very tech savvy but would appreciate if someone could help me out here.

ur bluetooth doesn't support btle.won't be able to use handoff and continuity see Bluetooth Low Energy Supported: No

ummm but the usb dongle is supposed to support ble once the CAT software is installed on the macbook is it not? or do i have this all confused?

ur bluetooth hardware info say it is a Broadcom, but it didn't say its chipset.it's hard to say ur bluetooth is compatible or not. the chipset line should between Transport: line and Firmware Version: line. and HCI Version: 0x4 should be HCI Version: 0x6 or higher value. not 0x4

i guess ur bluetooth may not compatible(for reasons above,no chipset line,no btle, hci version is not 0x6 or higher). u should make sure what chipset ur bluetooth dongle use.and search this chipset is support or not. and also try uninstall cat, change another usb interface, see btle support change to yes,or stilll no.
