Feature Request - Managing different definitions for the same word or phrase.

I'm a policy writer and often need to reference terms that have different meanings across multiple regulations (e.g., different definitions for air pollution).

I've set up my definitions so that each regulation has its own consolidated definitions note. Creating atomic notes for each definition in each regulation would take too much manual work to set up and adjust the text in every page I have for the regulations themselves or my own notes or analysis (e.g., atomic notes for Term 1 (Regulation A), Term 1 (Regulation B), etc.).

Ideally, the plugin would be able to show all definitions for a particular term that exist in different consolidated or atomic notes when hovering over the term in other pages. In some cases, it would also be useful to pick a consolidated definitions note for a given page so that all terms on the page are sourced from the selected consolidated definitions note.
