What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Make sure that Show Empty Groups is off
2. Have an empty group available
3. Add/Copy/Move a contact to the empty group

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

You should now see that group with a contact in it, but instead, we get a
crash because that group node is not visible in the tree. This is a problem
in the contact tree code.
