Create a team of maintainers #80

Hi @dsnopek,

I wonder if it possible to create a team of maintainers who can help you maintain this repository as I can imagine you must be very busy. As far as I know, this is the only project of its kind to host a local Anki Sync Server and it would suck to see it go stale if people aren't able to merge changes or request features.

If you would like, I would like to offer my time to help process the backlog of issues.

What do you think?

Please, yes!

dsnopek commented 5 years ago

Hey Folks! I haven't had time to maintain this for a long, long time. :-) If the user community got together and forked the repo, and made the new fork be the new official repo, I think that'd be fine. But I don't know that it makes sense to keep the repo under 'dsnopek/' if I'm not longer involved in maintaining it.

Hi @dsnopek,

That makes sense. I've created a separate organisation, which I have sent you an invitation to. I would love if we could potentially transfer the repository across as it would preserve the issues and pull requests for me to start sorting through. How does that sound?

Sterrs commented 4 years ago

@VikashKotharyWork Where can this organisation be found?

VikashKotharyWork commented 4 years ago

Very good question @Sterrs. I've created a clone here: https://github.com/ankicommunity/anki-sync-server.

@dsnopek If you could add this information to the README to make it easier to find.

Sterrs commented 4 years ago

@VikashKotharyWork Okay I'll take a look and may contribute there. I've made an issue you might want to check out.

dsnopek commented 4 years ago

Sure! Thanks for taking initiative on this :-)
