What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start XBMC remote
2. Check using Zeroconf browser on Android phone that XBMC server is advertised
and visible for phone
3. "No hosts detected" message appears
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expect to see name of my XBMC server.
What version of XBMC Remote are you using?
Latest/current in Google Play store
Which Android device are you using (and which ROM, if custom)?
Galaxy SIII
Which XBMC revision are you running and on which platform?
11, Linux
Zeroconf support was added in 2009, and then apparently removed?
This is a crucial usability issue that will prevent significant number of
people from using XBMC remote due to the lack of technical knowlage, especially
on routers with hyper-active DHCP servers that change IP address every day.
iPhone remote has this working for a long time now. Can something be done about
it please?
