setContentType() not working for Storage. #426

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?

$postbody = array("data" => $imgData);
$gso = new Google_StorageObject();

$gso->setName($imageName);
$contentType = 'image/jpg';
$gso->setContentType($contentType);
$resp = $objects->insert('bucket-name', $gso, $postbody);

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

The content type is being added to $gso but $objects->insert doesn't seem to
take that value and skips to the default content type 'application/octet-stream'

Try this:

$postbody = array('mimeType' => 'image/jpeg', "data" => $imgData);
$gso = new Google_StorageObject();

$gso->setName($imageName);
$resp = $objects->insert('bucket-name', $gso, $postbody);

That seems to work, thanks.

But setContentType() remains an issue.
