Change 20% of the water per day until the cloudiness goes away.
Feed the fish less for the first month. (he recommends only giving the fish enough food that they can fully eat in 30 seconds to avoid excess food build-up in the base of the aquarium)
The other thing he recommends is washing the substrate, sadly that would require a time machine. 🙃
So just going to reduce the amount of feed we give the fish and keep monitoring the water. ⌛
