@nelsonic I really don't think that second article is constructive. I get where the author is coming from, I'm sure we've all been there with his frustration, but that's just going to scare people away before they understand that all of the churn of more modern tools and frameworks is definitely an improvement, at least when you're trying to write enterprise-scale webapps. If I were you I would remove that link.

@jedwards1211 I agree that the second link is not especially "constructive" 👍 I included it precisely to initiate debate and would not put it in the main reader (at least not without contextualising why some people feel that way...) Also, The most interesting part of that medium post are the comments... 😂 Totally agree that it's counterproductive to ridicule the "state of the the things" And think the article should have a "Warning: This is Satire" heading at the top.

But one thing is for sure, I like the fact that "Wob" wrote it and published it because it got people talking. And at least for me kept me searching for simpler alternatives... Which I found: https://github.com/dwyl/learn-elm 😍 And am I'm not looking back. 🌈
