corrupt notations?

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.load attached pdf file
2.navigate. app will vaporize within a minute. No reprducible action required.
3.clear cached data and remove book settings using library context popup
4. App works fine with pdf
5. Restore book annotations using library context popup
6. App again vaporizes

What version of the product are you using? 2.1.9

On what operating system? Android 4.1.2

What device are you using? Asus fonepad

Please provide any additional information below.

Discovered that this crashing only occurs in vertical scroll mode. Horizontal 
scroll mode works fine!
