The design we've come up with is a bit out of the box — I want to test it in Mapbox and see how it goes before we implement/commit to anything more

pausing on this to focus on styling the crop data for a bit but we showed Cameron the concept for regions and he really liked it. we have updated mocks to walk through today that will hopefully solidify this plan

we also decided to drop countries from this view — it's cool but a bit overwhelming/confusing for the reader
