The benefit is that a few dozen LTW tests which I had switched to "full LTW" mode (running in separate JVMs), because I misunderstood the failures, not seeing my own mistake, can now be reverted to run in process. The side-effect that I fixed full LTW mode, so it is working again now when needed, remains intact, I only reverted the XML test configs from 3 commits, but left other changes intact.
