[releng] "OCL Tools" can't be installed via Modeling UI Discovery wizard #60

Fresh Luna (Modeling) installation can't install "OCL Tools" using the UI Discovery wizard (e.g. Help -> Install Modeling Components )

The error log is not very helpful:

java.lang.RuntimeException: Operation details at org.eclipse.amalgam.discovery.ui.common.internal.PrepareInstallProfileJob.resolve(PrepareInstallProfileJob.java:143) at org.eclipse.amalgam.discovery.ui.common.internal.PrepareInstallProfileJob.run(PrepareInstallProfileJob.java:104) at org.eclipse.jface.operation.ModalContext$ModalContextThread.run(ModalContext.java:122)

Apart from a hiccough with ECLIPSE-438868, it WORKSFORME on an almost clean WIN 64 Modeling EPP and WORKSFORME on a clean WIN 64 Modeling EPP.

Redirecting to Amalgam to at least improve the diagnosis and possibly identify an I/O failure that needs intelligent handling.

I retried another clean Luna Modeling installation (Win 64) and it worked. The error log in my yesterday failing attempt is there, in case Cedric was so bored to investigate it.

Thanks for your feedback. Indeed I could not have meaningfull errors with p2, every exception is wrapped and wrapped and wrapped....

I'll have a look at what the p2 wizard does itself.
