There is a big shift to move away from Markdown to AsciiDoc. Microprofile has already made the shift. There are many benefits to this, offering a single standardized syntax (Markdown has several flavors), and additional functionality not provided by Markdown. GitHub also supports AsciiDoc. This issue will cover modifying all of the current Markdown documentation to AsciiDoc format.
