The date to publish the paper is getting close, so I will use this citation that I found on two papers [^1][^2]:
Bahra, A.: Managing work flows with ecFlow, ECMWF Newsl., 129, 30–32 available from: https://www.ecmwf.int/sites/default/files/elibrary/2011/14594-newsletter-no129-autumn-2011.pdf (last access: 09 July 2023), 2011. (but I will modify it to use this page instead https://www.ecmwf.int/en/elibrary/80182-managing-work-flows-ecflow using the DOI)

@kinow, yes that citation is at the moment the most relevant one. As we modernise ecFlow, we will publish something more up to date.
@marcosbento can you please update the README with the citation to use?
Thank you @tlmquintino !
I just pushed a CITATION file into develop
with the mentioned article.
A new "Cite this repository" option is now be available on the right-hand side of the Github Web interface.
I can confirm it's working beautifully, @marcosbento !
Closing the issue. Thank you very much @tlmquintino & @marcosbento
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I am writing a paper where I mention ecFlow. I couldn't find a citation file.
Describe the solution you'd like
A citation file is added to the repository, or the README is updated to say how to cite ecFlow.
Describe alternatives you've considered
For now I will just add a link to ecFlow GitHub repository.
