Currently Qtcam is not supported for ubuntu 17.04. It is supported in ubuntu 12.04, 14.04 and 16.04 versions.

... and what about QT 5.10 in ubuntu 16.04?

As 16.04 is LTS version, Qtcam is supported for ubuntu 16.04.

Are there plans to extend support to 18.04?
