HTML5 Boilerplate #79

Open michaelalber opened 13 years ago

Would this project https://github.com/paulirish/html5-boilerplate be useful with ZFBP?

eddiejaoude commented 13 years ago

I have heard of that project, but never really looked into it.

Can you list the pros/cons?

Is it worth doing a proof of concept in a branch?

michaelalber commented 13 years ago

This does not answer the pros/cons, but https://github.com/michael-romer/zf-boilerplate is what zend + boilerplate could look like (just did not want to re-invent a wheel).

A few articles of interest:

Hmmm I had a quick read, I like the idea!

From the csswisardry article, is it too bloated? I think we need to do more research, then maybe a proof of concept & see what we come up with.

Definitely worth looking into more :)

The Paul Irish video was pretty interesting, it seems like Boilerplate is all about best practices; cross-browser, js, css, htaccess, unit testing, etc. This would seem to fit in well with the concept of ZFBP base/skeleton.
