Special characters break up #7

I've been trying to fix this one myself, been checking out how the templates were parsed and used here and there and turns out it's (if I'm not missing anything) using UTF-8 encoding all the way. Still, if I add my name (Federico Ba ñ a) to a README file it gets translated to something ugly.
