Resident Evil 1 Random Freeze #101

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.By playing for awhile the game just lockup with the music or a loud beeping
noise.
2.I managed to sometime play it in a 20-30mins session before a freeze.
3.Going into the map,Inventory menu, or even a door (loading screen) it will
also freeze.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What revision of Nintendont are you using? On what system Wii/Wii U?

I used versions 2.167 through 2.164 on a Normal Wii.

Please provide any additional information below.

I'm not sure what's the file name for the OSReport but will upload it if I find
it.

Apologies in advance.

I wish there was a edit button but I'm not using a USB loader just the
Nintendont loader itself.

My settings are pretty much everything off besides MC emulation, USB, (also
meant to state that), and OsReport. So, I can't think what's the issue is here.
I played other games just fine.

If I remember correctly the filename for the OSReport should be ndebug.log. It
should be on the root of your storage device. But I think you need to enable
Log aswell in the nintendont settings to get an actual log with OSReport
information.

Have you checked your iso at redump.org?
Have you tried another storage device?

Ill give redump.org a try.

I managed to get the log after playing but won't be able to check everything in
a while.
