Hi Burt,

These changes are for plotter.individualPlots(). I have tested (with pdfDiff!) that they do not affect plotter.plotAll(). Hopefully this spaghetti does not offend you any more than the previous spaghetti did.

Here are a few more backward-compatible changes (also tested not to affect plotAll())
