DataViz team has this dependency on us. Their issue is [119759|https://github.com/elastic/kibana/issues/119759] . The performance problem is most likely in our code. It needs to be investigated and fixed before they can move forward. This is blocking them from progressing on their “Field Statistics in Discover“ project which they would like to move on by end of 8.3, so our portion should aim for being completed in the first half of 8.3 (Sprint 10) .
