Unable to re-enter room, although admin of it

• For testing purposes, I renamed a room several times.
• I left this room.
• Now, I cannot re-enter the room, although I am still the admin (which can be seen in the room settings). Error message is “You are not invited to this room.” (There is no other admin.)
• Moreover, room has different names for different users (although cache was emptied by all users).
• There are no other admins—that is, I can not be invited.

• Moreover, it is not possible to enter any other rooms listed in the archive. Error message is “No known servers”. This message has been issued several times here.

Once everyone leaves a room there is no server remaining in it to join you into it As for rejoining, if no one can invite you then there is currently a way to join it You don't have to be an admin to invite someone else by default

From a practical (not necessarily technical) point of view: Shouldn’t it be possible for the room admin to always (re-)enter a room

• from the archive,
• with the internal room id,
• (maybe with the room’s local adresses)?

That bug also prevent me from modifying the settings of the room like removing the community flair :S Any idea on how to circumvent that problem?

One possible solution would a creator/owner role. https://github.com/matrix-org/matrix-doc/issues/652

Currently you could have a second (backup-) account that you join into your important room to be able to re-invite yourself.
