Im not sure if a percentage would help ? I was thinking of something a bit less cold too, like "Updates fix bugs and security issues and improve performances" or "Preparing an improved experience of your computer :)" because like, its nice like that
Problem
At the time, when an upgrade is operating on reboot, it is a loading bar and a percent
at times i have had an update going on and kind of wondered what the heck was going on - forgetting i left the checkmark to upgrade, on shutting down
i can imagine users who do not connect the dots asking "whats that black screen loading bar send help" It also feels oddly neutral, albeit not ugly
Proposal
Probably we can achieve some polish here - Im not sure where to look, but i feel it would be nice to have something a bit more "self-explanatory", and a bit more "elementary"
I could look into doing a design, but some other people may have an idea
