Have you been in touch with @pablobarbera yet? He should have some data to share/compare with yours, and he has published research based on Twitter EP data.

Thanks! Not yet, but we saw some interesting repositories in both yours and @pablobarbera's account. We are interested in network analysis as well (using Python at the moment). Let's keep in touch! We are always curious to share knowledge and open to collaborations with researchers and universities.

The really good stuff is on his account. He has also developed a package to easily handle Twitter data.

AFAIK, Python can perfectly do the job.

Let's keep in touch!

No problem. I'm f.briatte at Google Mail if you need me. Also, I'm more into networks than into Twitter :)

Hi, and sorry for crashing into this conversation, but I think there's no need to create another issue for this question...

I have a project on github that provides a list of MEPs on twitter by country, both on CSV and JSON formats: https://github.com/marado/MEPsOnTwitter

I recently moved the source for this info to https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/14Y3MBdIVsKt361l8qMGEecjGkxV5PCOfuKOMptfBB-k/ but then I bumped into this repository, and it seems that either this is the source for that spreadsheet or the other way around.

As I want to be using the most complete and up-to-date source, can you please tell me (if you can) which of these sources is the "primary" one?

Thanks

@marado I would like to argue that this is a completely different issue than the suggestion that I was making. If you do not mind, I believe it would be a good idea to open a new issue, e.g. 'Exact source'.
