Question: Current state of water control device support #10

What functionalities of the water control device are currently supported? The Home Assistant page mentions that storing scheduling settings in the device is not supported, but is it possible to send commands to the device at all (e.g. "open valve now"), or is support limited to reading information only?

I have some Java and a bit of Kotlin background and if I find the time I may be able to follow the general advice given here. Would this be still the recommended approach? At the end of the thread Gardena/Macculloc is mentioned, but may this be relevant to the water control device at all? I suspect it is only helpful regarding the lawn mower.

You can control it open/close. Just no schedule.
