Pull data from facebook, emanuil.tolev subscriptions should serve well as initial sources.

Potential difficulties: no english text, difficult to pick out pieces of data like (money needed from donations), (name), even (type) - is it a cat, a dog, etc...

Main idea being a catalogue similar to pinterest where people can browse for an animal to adopt. Make them feel good about it while providing a really nice modern user experience inspired by Si Val and the mobile revolution.

One potential solution to the text mining difficulties would be to ask organisations to standardise their facebook posts e.g.:

Type: cat Name: Popcorn Total medical bill: 100 BGN Money still needed: 50 BGN URL: Photo album URL: # very important! (and then they can have a list of donations in no particular format - we can't mine that, but maybe we don't care :) this may be enough).

Also allow our engine to overlay information from their posts easily, e.g. be able to insert English descriptions / translations into the catalogue WITHOUT needing the organisations to modify their original facebook posts.

This is all about saving their time, they are already busy working their day jobs AND saving animals on top of it + asking for help or sharing info on Facebook.

More problems: 1/ outdated information 2/ trustworthiness of posts, the groups, the volunteers behind them
