How to include CGNS during build.bash compilation?

ogloth commented 11 years ago

Hello,

there is a discussion about this subject on the old enGrid forum: http://engits.eu/vanilla/index.php?p=/discussion/95/no-cgns-support/#Item_4

If you have further questions, please post them on the new forum: http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/engrid/

I am closing this now, because it really should continue on the discussion forum.

Cheers, Oliver

I opened a item here in order to get build.bash updated to include CGNS.

In addition the engits.eu forum topic is too old (2010), does not allow comments and does no longer reflect the code neither solution for the latest release or the build.bash script.

I will try the cfd-online so...thanks.

CGNS is difficult to include in the build.bash, because it is not usually supported by a Linux distro. Depending on which code you want to use, there might be a better option than CGNS -- CGNS is a funny standard which is not really standardised ... let us continue on CFD online, though!

Comments on the engits.eu forum are disabled, because we would like everybody to move to CFD-Online. Engits is a tiny company and managing your own stuff on the web can be very time consuming, plus CFD-Online is THE place to look for any help related to CFD ;-)
