If you go to http://iphone.natetrue.com/nesapp/ he has been working on this
issue.
Also, if you have ssh installed, and are using WinSCP, you have to download the
binaries kit and copy the "rm" command into the /bin folder. Then you can just
click on the rom in the right window pane and hit F8 (or delete).
You can download the bin kit here - http://iphone.natetrue.com/ it will be the
one
that says iphone-bin-kit-0.06

Just to clarify-- you have to copy the 'rm' command from the downloaded binary
kit
(you will see it in the bin folder once you extract it) to the /bin folder on
your
iphone. This will enable you to delete files from the iphone using WinSCP and
ssh.
Some other useful commands to copy are 'mkdir' (make directory) 'rmdir'(remove
directory)and 'mv' (rename)

Winzip may be your problem. I used Winrar, which recognizes the .tar
packaging. You
can download a free trial version of winrar at
http://www.soft32.com/download_175.html
When you intall it, it will put extract options in the context menu. Just right
click on the file and choose extract here. I just downloaded the .06 bin kit,
extracted it with winrar, and everything was there.
