Death Beast and Ultimate Magus are in 0.0.12. For the latter, we don't yet
have some of the requested spells, so I improvised. I did add a new monster
attack for balls of disintegration, and discovered that adding new monster
attacks is really hard :(

The Ultimate Magus is a bit deadly, so I made him worth a lot of xp, and made
him drop excellent as well. He is threatening to my wizard character, who has
the free heal all wizard command!

I was unsure of the difficulty you wanted in the Death Beast, so I made him a
mid 40s, and he is pretty fragile once you knock some stars off him.

That sounds fine. We'll playtest it and see.

Spellwarp Automatons added to 0.0.12. I think Talos might be unkillable :)

Oh. I just realized something. Normal Spellwarp Automata should get a 1 in 5
chance of casting Disintegrate. Otherwise they're way too easy for Archers to
kill.

Similarly, Tonberries should get a Teleport-To Spell.

Actually, I think Teleport-To should be one of the spells considered for Spell
Revenge. If you're a Greater Titan and you're ticked off at an opponent,
teleporting him to you is a very valid response.

New monsters! First two are annoyances, last is an annoyance that could be
deadly.

Baby Mandragora. Green #. dlvl 20. 15d15 HP. +4 speed. This natural monster
breeds explosively. Cast spell 1 in 1: Blink, Heal Self.

Mandragora. Light Green #. dlvl 35. 30d30 HP. +10 speed. This natural
monster breeds explosively. Cast spell 1 in 1: Blink, Heal Self.

Overgrown Mandragora. Purple #. dlvl 50. 50d50 HP. +16 speed. This natural
monster breeds explosively. Cast spell 1 in 1: Blink, Heal Self, Summon Spores.

Mandragora Spores. Purple *. dlvl 50. 10d10 HP. +16 speed. Explode on

Closing in 0.0.41. I never did the Mandragora, but can if really wanted.

New unique idea, shamelessly swiped from Portal! (But it does kinda fit with
the name of this variant...)

Chell, the Vengeful Mirror-Master
"She was told there would be cake. But it was a lie. Now she's out for
revenge..."
Creates mirror-portals, just like the player Mirror-Master class. If you're
quick enough, you can follow her through before she destroys them. She never
physically attacks, but can cast gravity spells and create arrow traps.

Oops, never mind - I played a Mirror-Master the other day, and discovered that
they don't work quite how I thought - for some reason I thought they used the
mirrors to teleport from one to the other!

Another unique idea - Gladly, the Cross-Eyed Bear! (It's a pun on a hymn
title...)

I suppose he could hit to confuse, and maybe cast some priest spells too...
