Script not working. #15

I have tried blurring windows with this script but unfortunately I can't get it to work. I followed the steps and ran the commands

mkdir -p ~/.local/share/kservices5/
 cp ~/.local/share/kwin/scripts/forceblur/metadata.desktop ~/.local/share/kservices5/forceblur.desktop

I am trying to blur Nemo and Nautilus. When I ran their xprop WM_CLASS I got "nemo", "Nemo" and "org.gnome.Nautilus", "Org.gnome.Nautilus" respectively. Then I disabled and re-enabled the script via (Uncheck -> Apply -> Check -> Apply). Can you please assist on how to make it work.

I am using Arch Linux with KDE Plasma 5.20.4 Kernel 5.10.4

Hmm, first thing first - did you make Nemo/Nautilus transparent? I mean, GTK apps normally don't support transparent background.

I have tried this script under KUbuntu 20.04, nothing gets blurred except the latte dock, which is nonsense.

It's still blurred even after disabling the script.
