How many books do you have on your bookshelves? How often are they read - will they ever be again? What if we could turn everyone's bookshelves into a Library?
My idea is to create an application that allows users to mint ERC721 tokens for their books. These can then be transferred along with the book. Possibly this could be a different kind of transfer, which you retain ownership but can track who has the copy of the book.
In my eyes, a book is most useful when it is being read. I would be happy to give my book away if I knew the next person would do the same. It also could have the benefit of providing a history for a book. Imagine being able to see how many times your book had been read since you gave it away.
There is a lot of stuff to figure out for this idea, but the basic iteration to explore for the hackothon would be can we create an application where users can mint ERC721 tokens for their books, and can another user easily identify this token from the book?

Currently this is just an idea I wanted to throw out there. No one else is in the team apart from me.
