hmmm please define what is sleep and what is hibernate for u, currently i used it on my laptop and all works ok, it is an official windows API to sleep the system so I think you are confused about it. btw all is possible maybe it is a real issue.
also I know that you can change the settings to instead sleep go to hibernate on windows, did you check for that?
