Some Things to Know

Visual Guide to Good Workings --- ### Ideal Workflow ```mermaid graph TD; jason["Jason"]; you["You"]; good["A Good Time"] jason & you --> good; ``` ---
What is That Jason Doing? --- ### How I Get My Best Work Done I'm a bit binary. I am either... | Mode | Description | | ------------- | ----------- | | Pretend Human | Super on-task, adhering to a well-worked-out list of priorities & issues whilst being being very efficient | | Chaos Unmasked | Absolute "the fools at the laboratory thought I was mad, but I'll show them" mode. This is where my best ideas and my most searing catastrophes emanate from. | ---

Where You Will Find Me

The Roles I Usually Take

Technical Role --- - I gravitate towards the middle/back-end of the stack. - I skew JavaScript rather than HTML/CSS ---
Project/Meta Role --- I'm good at... - ideation (the generation & expansion of ideas) - turning ideas into action plans ---
Support/Social Role --- - I can be a bit slow to passively take in social dynamics but, when I'm focussed on one person, I believe in having people's back. - I happy supporting someone while they stand in the foreground - As a former teacher/facilitator, I'm okay taking the public speaking bullet too ---

My Communication Style

Softly-spoken & Velvet-voiced --- - Enthusiastic - Completely oblivious to the tone of the room - I assume people are trying and that they care - My default position is that someone is struggling, not being "difficult", and I try to treat them accordingly ---
