Exception when creating new Persona in jos 1.2.1 #24

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. A general exception ocurred when creating a new Persona either in the 
demo(http://www.openid.org.cn) as in my own jos server installed in my 
computer

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Instead of creating the persona I get an "OpenID is Unavailable" message.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
jos 1.2.1 in Mac OS X Snow Leopard

Please provide any additional information below.
