During my discussions with one if the sellers i was informed that the
distribution of source code for these displays is not (yet) allowed.

Do you need an Evalboard? I can offer one for a limited amount of time (3
Month).

Hi
Infact i have a EA e-paper display in my lab. However the complexity of
controlling this kind of display and my own limited time prevented me from
proceeding on this topic. Meanwhile i think that the SSD1606 controller might
be a better choice for e-paper displays and easier to be implemented with
u8glib, but i did not do a deeper look into the ssd1606 manual. Anyway, i think
this will be the future. See for example this display:
http://www.seeedstudio.com/wiki/E-ink_Display_Shield or this
