YouTube video sound keeps playing after selecting another page in the book #3914

Using v1.0.998 on macOS 13.6.7, after selecting the page “Getting started with GT in 7'” in the Glamorous Toolkit Book and starting the video, when selecting another page, the video’s sound keeps playing. Being able to keep listening while consulting the other page could be useful, but a problem is that there then doesn’t seem to be a way to stop the audio. Selecting the first page again shows the video as not playing, and starting it a second time doesn’t stop the audio that’s already playing.

This is a limitation of WebView on Mac. At the moment we did not find a way to mitigate this.

There’s also a memory leak, I opened a separate issue for that (though it seems likely they have the same cause): issue #3916.
